They can be <strong>mechanically or electrically operated<\/strong>. They come in different sizes depending on the dimensions of the mirrors to be adjusted.<\/p>\n<p>Models:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>14-16-SC7 24V<\/strong> electric RING actuator.<\/li>\n<li>PB-CE 24V electric <strong>SPRING actuator<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PB-CE-14<\/strong> mechanically-operated actuator.<\/li>\n<li><strong>MEDIUM 16-SC7<\/strong> mechanically-operated actuator.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Dovetails<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1944 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.industri-sl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/cola-de-milano-2-1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Custom manufacturing of dovetails for the rear view mirrors of coaches\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.industri-sl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/cola-de-milano-2-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.industri-sl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/cola-de-milano-2-1-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.industri-sl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/cola-de-milano-2-1.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><br \/>\nThere are <strong>different systems<\/strong> for mounting rear view mirrors on the bus body, depending on the model of rear view mirror.<\/p>\n<p>For fixed, non-adjustable rear view mirrors <strong>we use male and female dovetails<\/strong>. Both are made in aluminium, injected or gravity die cast, and cannot be turned or adjusted in any way while the vehicle is in use. The male dovetail is fixed to the bus structure and the female dovetail to the rear view mirror.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of adjustable rear view mirrors, we use a male dovetail fixed to the bus structure and an adjustable female piece fitted to the rear view mirror. Among these components is mirror glass and its housing, custom manufactured to suit the customer\u2019s needs, the model of rear view mirror and the bus\/microbus itself.<\/p>\n<p>Mirror glass comes in different sizes and with different curvatures. Some kinds of glass are heated to prevent them from steaming over in low temperatures; this <strong>increases the driver\u2019s ability to see in adverse situations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div
